In his first run in nearly a month after being severely sick, Walter Bender led things off grabbing the early lead for his team. Unfortunatly his lead would not be large enough, as Jill Krebs logged the fastest 2K leg, running a time of 7:21, just enough to catch the speedy youngster Taylor Smith. John Bassett ran his first distance race and did a great job in helping his team to break 19. Pippa Cown was able to bring it home as a severe storm approached. Everybody was able to get into their cars long before the heavy ran began to fall. Next CMAC race will be held at Liberty High School on June 23rd starting at 6:00 pm.
