Photos from the Senior Boys Race at the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships in New York.

ERR's largest representation came in the senior guys race. They had reprentatives from Liberty, FSK and Century in the race...and a soccer player. In the front from left to right is Brian Leiter from FSK, Frank Sisolak from Liberty, Walter Bender from Liberty, Kevin Burdinski from Liberty, Chris Haines from the Liberty Soccer team, In the back from left to right is Carl Henn from Liberty, David Garcia from Liberty, Eric Brown from Century, and Bryan Mull from Liberty.
Here the seniors warmup for the final time for a XC race in their high school carears. Although they were not all teammates during the xc season, they all came together as a team on this day in New York.
Bryan Mull leads Walter Bender through a group of runners. It was Bryan's second year at the Championships, improving on last year's time by over a minute.
David Garcia joined ERR over the summer never having run before. He enjoyed it enough to join the xc team, and ends his season with a great race at the Foot Locker Championships. David is a foreign exchange student staying with Rodriguez family, all of whom are ERR members.
Carl Henn led the way, as he did for most of the year for the Liberty XC team. He finished with ERRs best time as the only person to break 18.
Brian Leiter finished with a strong kick. He capped off a very successful xc season, but his running carear is not over. Brian runs outdoor track where he is a state champion 800 meter runner and also had a runner-up finish in the state championships in the 1600 last year.
Liberty star point guard Frank Sisolak was able to take a break from his basketball schedule to run in the Foot Locker Championships for the second straight year. Frank improved by 56 seconds from a year ago.
Still in his first year of running, Walter Bender continues to improve. It's too bad the Liberty XC team didn't discover his talent earlier. Walter finished with a pack of ERR runners that ran very well.
Kevin Burdinski flashed his old ERR jersey that he received at last year's race. He improved on his performance from a year ago by 44 seconds.
Eric Brown drives towards the finish to nip his time from last year by 1 second. Eric is now getting ready for his final indoor track season at Century.
Chris Haines had never run a XC race before the Foot Locker Championships. He wasn't even sure how hard to go out. Chris was still able to maintain a good pace and finish with an impressive time for a first time.
