Photos from Baltimore Running Festival

Even after 13.1 miles, these ERR members are able to stand for a Photo. From right to left, Bobby Ward (1:34:41), Miguel Rodriguez (1:46:01), Rob Paczynski (1:39:33), Pipa Cowen (1:45:31) and Pete Lester (1:57:24). ERR Member Jack Mull (2:03:23)is not pictured, he was cheering on his daughter running the full marathon. Congrats to all our ERR members in completing your 1st half-marathons!!
Dan Rodriguez prepares for the 5K race. Despite a large crowd, he was able to weave his way to a strong finish.
Using the 5K as a nice run after a great race in the MVAL Championships, Samantha Black competed in the race for what she said was the 3rd or 4th straight year.
Dressed in Red singlets, a few local girls from our area ran very well in the 5K Race. New Windsor resident Jill Krebs and Westminster resident Diana Pool went 1-2 in the 20-24 age group with times of 17:36 and 18:08 respectively. Eldersburg resident Sherry Stick won the 25-29 age group with a time of 18:26 (seen looking towards the camera closest to us).

Waking up early to cheer on her dad running the half marathon, Kaitlin Rodriguez poses with her teammate Samantha after completing the 5K as they stop to eat breakfast.

Along the final stretch, Miguel is pushed on by the large crowd at the finish of the Half Marathon. Miguel only picked up the sport over the past year, and quickly found a passion for it.

Right now, everything taste like heaven. Pipa Cowan and Pete Lester enjoy some post meet refreshments as they try to get dry in the cold morning air in Baltimore.
A family affair. The entire Rodriguez family came out for the festival as Miguel and Dan each ran. Kaitlin and David gave them the pointers they learned from cross country while Susan gave the inspirational speech "Run fast, get to the finish as fast as you can".

Hmm...My apple is almost gone, maybe he won't notice if I take a bite from his...

Pete and Bobby talk about the many adventures along the course including the beer man with 2 miles to go.

We're Number 1...or is it That was our 1st half Marathon. Either way, this group was all smiles after the race, and they should be...they're stealing the champion trophy!!
